The global unlock commands unlocks the objects that have been locked individually or using the global lock commands. Locked objects cannot be manipulated or modified unless they are unlocked. The global unlock command is found on the Edit menu.
The Unlock Commands available are: Unlock Everything, Unlock Symbols, Unlock Walls, Unlock Surfaces, Unlock Lines, Unlock Dimensions, Unlock Text, Unlock Photos and Unlock Trace Photos.
You will be unlocking all the objects of a specific type on the plan. To unlock an individual object, use the item level unlock feature found in the info panel of symbols, photos and other plan objects.
To Access the Unlock Commands:
| 2. | A sub-menu containing the global unlock commands will be displayed to the right. |
| • | Select Unlock Everything to unlock all the objects on the plan that have been locked using the lock-by-type commands. These include symbols, walls, surfaces, lines, dimensions, text, photos, and trace photos. |
| • | Select Unlock Symbols to unlock all the symbols on the plan that have been locked using the Lock Symbols command. |
| • | Select Unlock Walls to unlock all the walls that have been locked using the Lock Walls command. |
| • | Select Unlock Surfaces to unlock all the surfaces that have been locked using the Lock Surfaces command. |
| • | Select Unlock Lines to unlock all the surfaces that have been locked using the Lock Lines command. |
| • | Select Unlock Dimensions to unlock all the dimensions that have been locked using the Lock Dimensions commands. |
| • | Select the Unlock Text command to unlock all the text that has been locked using the Lock Text command. |
| • | Select the Unlock Photos command to unlock all the photos on the plan that have been locked using the Lock Photos command. |
| • | Select the Unlock Trace Photos command to unlock all the trace photos on the plan that have been locked using the Lock Trace Photos command. |
