The first tool in the tools palette is the selection tool. When this tool is activated, you can use the cursor to select objects in the plan for manipulation and information. Activate the selection tool by selecting the arrow symbol from the tools palette.
| • | Click anywhere on the plan in the work area to select the object that you want to work with. Once selected, you can move, and edit objects. Once certain objects are selected, you can also access the resize and rotate handles. |
| • | You can also pan around your floor plan by clicking and dragging any empty areas of your floor plan using the selection tool. |
